at the beach

Behind the name men is nothing but three male founders and that it sounds nice. There is no other connection. Okay, another connection than that all three of us live & work in Delft. Besides that, we think it sounds nice ourselves, but it actually does our female designers short. Then change? Nonsense, we remain three men raised and raised in Delft. We are not a men’s group, but a team. A team that is committed to helping companies to be successful in the digital world. Successful in showing who you are and what you mean to your customers and employees. Last year Beachclub Klein Scheveningen, a beautiful restaurant and event location on the Lek, welcomed new owners.

New website

With the change of owner and the start of a new season in sight, there was a need for a website that reflected the renewed vision of Beachclub Klein Scheveningen. The assignment was clear: the new website had to be ready before May 1, just in time for the start of the season.
Time pressure was high. From the announcement of the assignment in early April, we had less than a month to launch the new website . Another challenge was to correctly represent the unique location and offer of the Beach Club. It was essential to capture the atmosphere and experience of the location in the design and content of the website.

The approach

At De Mannen van Delft we are no strangers to tight deadlines and complex projects. Daan started by outlining the approach and planning, taking into account the requirements of Beachclub Klein Scheveningen and the needs of the website visitors.
Thomas worked closely with Daan to ensure that the website not only looked good, but also performed well technically. This included ensuring fast loading times, a responsive design for different devices and user-friendly navigation.

This all went in agreement with the sales & marketing manager of the Beachclub, who was closely involved in the project. This has helped a lot to convey the right feeling.
Thanks to the collaboration and commitment of the team, we were able to launch the new website in time for the season. The new website now reflects the renewed vision of the Beachclub and invites visitors to experience the unique experience that the location offers for themselves.
The result is a visually attractive, user-friendly and responsive website that gives visitors a taste of what they can expect when visiting Beachclub Klein Scheveningen.

Conclusion

This project was a perfect example of how De Mannen van Delft can work together to turn a challenging assignment into a success. Despite the tight deadline and the complexity of the project, we have delivered a website that satisfies both the client and the visitors of the Beachclub.

The success of this project confirms our belief that good cooperation, combined with our expertise in marketing, engineering and design, enables us to deliver excellent results for our clients, however complex or challenging the assignment may be.
